SSI.php functions (SMF 2.0 RC2)

Hello everyone, im a recent follower of the west memphis 3 (recently as in this past weekend, so go easy on me!) Im a die hard pearl jam fan and obviously have heard mr vedder mention this case for years but never gave it much thought, but decided to read the basics of it on sunday and basically havent stopped reading about it since. 

Anyway heres my issue. I do think theyre guilty, mostly due to misskelley's confessions (plural). And they dont have any alibis right? If they were innocent you'd think someone would be able to say "damian/jason/jessie was with me, or at so and so's place, when the murders supposedly took place"   But heres my question, other than the confession theres not much linking them to the crime right? Sooooo, theres no way in my mind you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt WITHOUT JESSIE'S CONFESSION that they were guilty. Some of the things the prosecution did was comically bad. Knife on the grapefruit????? COme on! The satanic angle was ridiculous, especially when their satanic "expert" had a mail order phd LOL  Plus putting that carson dude on the stand who said baldwin put 1 of the kid's balls in his mouth, yea hes a real credible witness.

I think they got the right people behind bars, and i guess thats all that matters, but i dont see any way damian and jason could be found guilty without the confession. Hell they wouldnt have even gotten arrested without the original confession. There was another thread on here where the non supporters said you cant prove the jury took the confession into consideration in their verdict. But its common sense, without the confession what do they got???? Thats why in paradise lost the prosecutors said how crucial getting jessie to testify would be, saying its 50/50 getting a conviction without it, and i think they were being generous saying 50/50 for the family's sake. Their tone of voice made it seem like they had zero chance of a conviction without it, and i would agree with that.

I have a feeling this is going to be a very interesting week with big news.



That aside, I'd love to hear any rebuttal to all 52 of the following (or an acknowledgment if the bulb comes on and y'all finally "get it" ... jump on the team and come in for the big win ....  Realize that 3 innocent guys have been convicted and you've been befriending a baby killer for all these years )....

#1.  He said he talked to Dawn Moore on the way to Catfish Island and on the way back home.

#2.  He said he did not play guitars for an hour with David Jacoby.

#3.  He said he phoned the police between 5:00 and 5:30 pm.

#4.  He said he was searching the woods with Jacoby between 6:00 and 6:30 pm.

#5.  He said he searched the woods with Officer Meek.

#6.  He said he was with the other searchers when the splashes were heard.

#7.  He said there were 20-40 people searching the woods before dark on May 5th.

#8.  He said he met Mark Byers at  about 6:00 pm.

#9.  He said Dana Moore came by his house at about 6:00 pm.

#10. He said he saw a wet, black bum leaving the crime scene area on the morning of May 6th.

#11.  He said he made two or three trips to the WMPD with Jacoby.

#12.  He said he did not sexually assault Mildred French.

#13.  He said he came home from work between 3:00 and 3:30 pm on May 5th.

#14.  He said that Ryan told him that the boys could have been hiding in a manhole.

#15.  He said he saw a photo of Damien sitting on his couch with Stevie and Michael.

#16.  He said he never told Sharon Nelson that he found the boys before 9 pm.

#17.  He said he did not know if Stevie owned a pocketknife....later admitting that he took it.

#18.  He said he did not leave Pam alone at home after taking her there to change clothes.

#19.  In the WMPD interview he said that Jacoby was with him until 2-3 am....but, in the civil depo he won't say when Jacoby went home. Even insinuating that Jacoby went straight to work from the search.

#20.    He said he never saw any of the boys on May 5th, 1993.

#21     hobbs said he did'nt carry a pocket knife. LIE!! Myself & others have seen him with pocket knife when he was working for me back in 06.Hobbs collects pocket knifes however dosent carry one.Thats like says I'm going to play Golf & take no clubs.Going fishing & take no fishing pole.Have a Library full of books & say you dont read.

#22.  He said he didn't shoot Jackie Jr.  He just loaded Mr. Smith with hollow points to shoot the sky.

#23.  He said he went door-to-door searching for Stevie.  Ha!

#24.  He said the Hicks stole his 9mm gun.

#25.  He said Jolynn planted a bag of "white powder" in his room.

#26.  He went public to announce that Lorrie was behind the lowdown conspiracy to get Amanda a car and to have her hynotized.

#27.  He said he didn't recognize his own daughter's handwriting and that she didn't write her journals.

#28.  He didn't remember the vehicles he owned in 1993.

#29.  He didn't do drugs.

#30.  He isn't capable of marking a map of the area of woods in which he says he searched for Stevie.   Too confused by it.

#31. That Natalie Pasdar done wentin rurnt his dadbarn repetation, but he got her plumb off the trail doin that now.

#32. He never did tell nobody that he was going to get rich offen the big lawsuit he was bringin on Natalie Pasdar and he sure didn't offer Pam any money out of it.

#33. he killed mildred french's cat. no real information on that, but i know the motherfucker just killed the motherfucking cat. (pardon, still watching richard pryor:-)

#34. Hobbs said he was a good father figure.

#35. The biggest lie: The "boy" broke up his home.

#36. His Deposition - Q. You don’t know a Mildred French? A. No. Q. I’m sorry? A. No. Q. No. Isn’t it true that you were arrested for grabbing her breasts as she got out of the shower? It was a sexual assault?  A. Yeah. Q. Do you realize your under oath? A. I realize that. Q. You didn’t have to go to counseling for it? A. We went to counseling over something, but it wasn’t what you just said. <snip>  Q (By Ms. Davis) Let me show you what I'm marking as Deposition Exhibit No. 30, which is a copy of the police report from 1982 regarding you and Ms. French. I'll give you a  minute to look through that. <snip>  Q Does Deposition Exhibit No. 30 refresh your recollection that the police came out to talk to you about criminal trespass and assault and breaking and entering --- <snip>  Q You're not suggesting that the police are lying with regard to their report, are you?  A I don't know. I ain't read it. Q And refuse to? A (Witness nods head.)         Terry forgets the details of his court ordered counseling in a facility on 7th Street in Hot Springs, for his sexual assault of Ms Mildred French.


#37. Terry tells in the Dimention Film interview he called the Police at 5.30pm, that there's paperwork saying he called at between 5.00 and 5.30 to "report our kids missing". (Det. Lt. Mitchell tells otherwise in his Pasdar Deposition aka nothing logged until 9.19 when the phone call came in from Catfish Island, which was despatched at 9.21)

#38. Terry said in his Deposition: "I am presently divorced from a marriage that  has been interrupted by the death of our child."

#39.  "As you sit here today, what do you think your reputation in the community is? A. The people that know me like me." Pasdar Declarations and statements from those that know him say otherwise.

#40. Pasdar Deposition- Q. Well, have you ever had a book deal?  A. No.      WMPD Interview 2007- Officer: Ok, umm is it something your hand writing or something your typing on a computer or ? Terry Hobbs: Well I've hand written it and I have a writer who's wanting to put it in book form for me, cause one day i'm gonna put it on the market.

#41.  Terry claims in his Deposition he had a home phone. Stevies mising persons report shows they did not.

#42.  Pasdar Deposition- Q. Would you agree with me, that under the circumstances, that if you had done laundry, that that would have been a most unusual time to do it?  A. Well, I’m not going to agree with you, because it didn’t happen.  Pams sister gives statement that she witnessed him doing laundry on the 6th, washing even clean clothing and curtains etc...

#43.  Terry discussing his comment to Sharon Nelson in his Deposition-  Q. So you did tell her that the boys were buried underwater? A. I’m not sure. Q. Well, did you or didn’t you?  A. I don’t know.    Sharon Nelson has sworn under oath otherwise.

#44.  Pasdar Deposition- Q. What do you recall the allegations that the family made against you about abusing your daughter?  A. What do I recall? Q. Uh-huh. A bunch of junk, garbage, bunch of stuff they sat around and make up just to have something to do. Q. And you never did that -- you never abused your daughter?  A. No, sir, I never have.      Amanda's Journal writtings dated July 18th 2008 - " From 15 till now my dad never touched me sexually but he beat the hell out of me...but we both know how he hit me and i don't want to be angry like him or violent like him."  Husband of Sheila Hicks, Brandon Muse states "In November of 1997 i was newly married to Sheila Hicks Muse and we were having htanksgiving dinner with Pam and Amanda. Sheila was ready to eat and Terry and his daughter Amanda were not around. We walked outside and around the house. Terry was sitting on the steps on the side of the house. Amanda was straddling him, facing him. TErry was rubbing Amanda on his crotch in a circular grinding motion. Terry saw us and spun Amanda around. She seemed puzzled and asked "Daddy, we not play sexy?" She was asking, why did you stop? He shhushhed her."

#45.  JoLynn gives statement June 19th 2007 to WMPD that Terry claimed Mark had given him all those knives.

#46.  He lied about why he left Pam shortly after the murders. It wasn't because he couldn't stand to watch her grieve, it was to get the hell out of town to avoid police, etc. he couldn't stand watching her family watch him.

#47. In Terrys Pasdar Deposition he tells this-  Q.Your brother-in-law was shot, though, right, with a handgun? A. He was hit with a bullet.
Q. And whose gun did the bullet come from? A. Mine. Q. And who was holding the gun when it went off?  A. I was. Q. And the gun was loaded with hollow point bullets, right? A. Correct. Q. And you were charged -- criminal charges were brought against you, right? A. And soon dropped. Q. Were you ever convicted at all on that? A. No, sir.    In a document filed by Pasdar from Det. Lt. Mitchell dated 25th July 2007, he states "Here are copies of the information you requested on Terry Hobbs. According to the records, Terry shot his then brother in law Jackie Hicks during some type of domestic disturbance with Pam Hobbs. This occurred at Memphis, Tennessee on 11/6/1994. Terry pled guilty to aggravated assault on 02/20/1996."

#48.  Deposition- Q. But fair enough. Fair enough. Have you ever posted on the internet blogs? A. No. Q. About this case? A. No. Q. How about anyone on your behalf, your brothers, your family? A. I have -- I have asked my family not to do this. We don’t believe in lowering ourself to

#49.  Deposition- Q. Okay. You weren’t interviewed in ’93 by the police, were you? A. Yeah. Q. Were you? A. Yeah. Q. Who interviewed you in ’93? A. Different ones. Q. How many times? A. I’m not sure. Yeah, we was asked questions, too. Q. About what? What type of questions did they ask you in ’93? A. The same as they asked everybody else. I don’t remember.    Det. Lt. Mitchell in his Depostion 10th November 2009- " Q. Were there communications with Mr. Hobbs about his activites during this time period? A. There were limited contacts with Mr. Hobbs. Primarily first contact was--involved our dipatch log where contact was made with him May 5 1993 <snip> and that contact would start at 9:19 when a call was received, dispatched at 9.21. <snip> Q. The next area of enquiry is any background check made concerning Terry Hobbs at any time before January 1 2007 in connection with these murders? <snip> A. The only records -- the only thing i could find viewing the case file was where Mr Hobbs was finger printed and that took place on January the 15th 1994.<snip> Q. And no blood samples? A. Not that i have seen sir. Q. No hair samples? A. Not that i've seen. <snip> Q. And there's no documentation anywhere in the West Memphis Police Department file that would show that Hobbs was even formally interviewed by the West Memphis Police Department prior to January 1st 2007, correct? A. Correct.

#50.  Deposition by Terry- Q. Did you have a good relationship with your in-laws in May of 1993? A. I did. Q. What about with your own family? A. Of course. <snip>   Q. Were you abused as a child by your father or your mother? A. No. Q. Were your siblings abused? A. No. Q. And I’m talking physical abuse? A. No. Q. Was there any sexual abuse in your family? A. No.         Jolynn's Police Interview with Det. Lt. Mitchell June 19th 2007- "...but that's what he would do is run the restaurant for his father. It came out that he was embezzling money from his father" <snip> "He's told stories of his Mother abusing him sexual abuse, uh activity with animals it was just god awful disgusting stuff."   

#51.  Deposition by Terry- Q. And if David Jacoby testifies that you went to his house and played guitars for about an hour on May 5 of 1993, is your -- is it your testimony that he is lying? A. My testimony is I don’t know.

#52. He had to quit his Memphis Ice Cream job because people were too nice to him. (In the same breath, he said people accused him all the time.) Actually, I think that's the truth.  The lie was that his customers were saying "You did it!". Right, the customers were too nice and it was frying his brain.

Hi folks, my annual post, in the form of a question !

I dont know where to put this post, so decided to stick it here, sorry if wrong place

Does anyone know exactly what medication (s) (and doses if possible) Damian was taking at the time of his arrest?

I have seen lists of meds he had taken, but am not sure what he was actually taking and how much when he was arrested.

I recently read that Terry's case against Natalie Maines fell through because of some crap about freedom of speech or because of maines' celeb status, but i also read that it fell through because of statements made by Hobbs that he nor David Jacoby (who allegedly claims he was with Terry on the night in question) did not see any of the boys the night they were murdered and somehow conflicts with statements made by neighbors. Yet after searching for a few days i have not found any transcripts of Hobbs' statements or that of Jacoby's. Has anyone seen these statements and if so can they please post them or at least give a link.
